THE BEANS WE ROAST

In April 2025 only 6 months after we opened the doors on ICOINC COFFEE we decided that because we were growing so rapidly that our very distant plan to roast our own coffee should be brought forward.

So it was.

We purchased our first shop roaster and now roast our house coffee and ever-changing filter coffees right next to the front counter where you order.

A remarkable DRUGAR (Dried Ugandan Arabica) from the Rwenzori Mountains, where the tradition of naturally processed coffee has supported generations of local families. This coffee, made from SL14 and SL28 varietals, embodies the rich heritage of the region, offering a taste that is as vibrant as the community it uplifts.

African Moon is exceptionally sweet and juicy, with bold cherry flavours and a deep, dark chocolate finish. It's an ideal choice for espresso or as a standout single-origin offering. Beyond its delightful flavour profile, every sip contributes to the livelihoods of the Rwenzori families, preserving their craft and culture.
